I’m in my mid 40’s and was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20’s. Was told I wouldn’t ever get pregnant. Six years later I got pregnant. Weight loss and weight gain was the story of my life. I hit my highest weight last year when I was over 300 lbs with a near death experience. When I got discharged, I got a wake up call and decided I needed to get back in shape and I lost 127 lbs in 9 months. Best decision I ever made for myself. I applaud you sis. Good job! You did it! 🎉❤

Girl YES about the insulin resistance. People do not understand how that feels. You are literally so out of control and will be screaming in your head not to eat and that you aren’t hungry and your body just goes through the motions and does it anyway. It makes it feel impossible to overcome.

I can relate to everything you're saying, except the PCOS, but I had endometriosis. I was originally 350 pounds, and I lost 150 pounds with Weight Watchers. Afterward, I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2006, and losing the additional 70 pounds was a struggle. Now, I've been on Ozempic for 26 weeks and I've lost 30 pounds. My A1C was 14...off the charts, and now it is currently 6.9, the lowest it has been in over 18 years, and I've gone from 7 Injections total of short and long-acting Insulin, to only taking Jardiance daily and Ozempic once a week. I'm so thankful that my Insurance pays for the Medication. Thank you for sharing!

I’m glad you were transparent, I’ve followed you for yearssss and I know you always struggle with your weight but I know you were on Ozempic, Wegovy, Semaglutide. I’m happy for you. I was almost 300 lbs in 2010 and 13 years later I weigh 124 and I managed to keep my weight off but it was a lifestyle change and everyday is a constant struggle to stay healthy, congrats again 🎉

I know exactly what you’re talking about about getting to 160, then 170 then more and more.
I gained 55 lbs in the last 8 years and have been working hard to lose them.
It’s very hard so far I only lost about 15

Girl yes! Like I have PCOS and it literally makes you addicted to food if you don’t keep your diet in check. I would be constantly hungry even after eating a big meal. It’s the insulin resistance

What i really noticed about this video throughtout your weightloss journey youre chill about it. You keep it simple. PCOS does not work with stress. Our journey includes being less stress.

I really love how honest you are, and I can definitely relate with the PCOS and I was dealing with type II diabetes. I'm with you with the no medication thing but when I tell you mounjaro has been a game changer for me. My A1C has never been in control like it is now as well as my cholesterol and once I adjusted my diet; the weight started to come off. You look absolutely amazing.

Congrats 🎊🍾 I was informed by my primary care doctor that I need to lose 45lbs due to health purposes, age and height. I’m over weight. I had lost 36lbs in 2019 and kept it off, however our son was murdered, the my mom passed. So grief took a toll and still is, however I need this weight gone. Pray for me 🙏🏽

So semaglutied is the one you are actually taking. Correct

I’m sooo glad I came across this! Your back story is so similar to mine. I just started on 1. I’ve lost 10 lbs since I started in December. I’m on Ozempic. Hopefully it’ll help with my PCOS. Blood sugars are still adjusting though. This give me some hope sis! Thank you!

I’m starting Zepbound tonight I cannot wait to shed these 40lbs!!! I resonated with EVERYTHING you said! The constant food noise is horrible & PCOS makes it 100x worse ! I can’t wait 🎉
