Congratulations 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉 I to have been walking since my daughter passed away last year in April it was very therapeutic for me. I started out walking 3 miles 5 days a week to now I'm doing 10 to 12 miles 5 days a week and it has been beneficial to my mental health as well as my physical well being. Walking has been great for me since I have bad knees, I say a prayer and get moving. As of December 31st 2021 I am down 96lbs. Although my reason for starting walking was not to lose weight, but instead to ease my mind of the hurt and pain of losing my daughter. When I'm out walking in the park now and I see butterflies flying beside me I feel my big girl is helping push me along, and the thought of her keeps me moving. 🐛🦋🦋🦋🙏🙏🙏

Walking for 30 minutes or more- clean eating, and intermittent fasting are an AMAZING weight loss & toning combo. Our bodies were built for movement, namely walking.

Yes walking daily, fasting, keto lifestyle saved my life . 400 pounds and now 125 . I walk minimum 2 hrs per day . I listen to music, dance a little when I walk, pray and just allow all my problems to fade away . I have placed my diabetics & high blood pressure In remission and off all meds . Yes minimum 10, 000.00 steps but do 15, 000.00 per day. Started 2020 at 54 and now I am 56 yrs old

I am 6 foot 4 and weighed 350 pounds. After 6 months of trying to get my 10k steps in and a change in doing nothing crazy just balanced with less of the bad stuff I'm down to 300 and halfway towards my goal.

Congrats. I did the same thing. Been walking 2 to 4 miles a day for for years now. I'm going to be 74 this fall. I feel 30 . Also do a keto diet. Went from size 14 to size 4. Never felt this good. Hate it when weather is bad and I might as my walk. So good luck to you. It's a great thing to feel this good . AND JUST FROM WALKING.!! I'm also NEVER sick

I am 70. I started with about 1-2 miles a day in June (completely out of shape and it was hard), Now (October) I do 5-10 miles a day (11 - 22, 000 steps) - a lot of it on hard steep hills. I am on track to walk 215 miles this month. (Weight 132 at 5'4"). You will gain weight at first (muscle swelling, and muscle weighs more than the fat it replaces) - but it flips and you start to lose dramatically. Keep the faith. If I can do it, anyone can.

I weighted 230 in June. I walk or swim every day and usually keep my calories between 1500 to 1200. I avoid processed foods and only eat fresh with the exception of peanut butter. I am down to 184. Eating healthy combined with walking is so effective.

I started walking to the end of my road and back 3 times day. Today is day 5 . I cannot BELIEVE how different I feel already . I just told my friend that I haven’t felt this good since I was in my 20’s . Motivation to keep it up !! I also quit smoking cigarettes 8 months ago . I’m so excited to feel brand new and alive again!!

60 year old female, April 20 of this year I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetic. I already had thyroid disease and high blood pressure. I was overweight and couldn't walk to the bathroom without being winded. Because I have 4 birth defects and 4 age related conditions in my spine, standing and walking was painful. I began walking in a pool. Then I started walking in my apartment. I thought 10 minutes would kill me. I don't count steps, but I do count time. Today I've already walked 190 minutes, and I will go walking at a park after supper. I lost 46 pounds in 4 months.

I was convinced when she said "walking can reduce belly fat". I love my body. I also don't want to look like I've given birth to 13 babies when I've never been pregnant.

You’re absolutely right. I was so angry and very mentally stressed so I went to walk every night after dinner. It’s de-stressing. Now I’m addicted. It has improved to an hour now. I started at 20minutes and slowly increased to 30 minutes. Incremental increase per week should do. Do not hurry or you’ll hurt yourself.

Hi, I average 10-12 thousand steps a day. I am a teacher, I purposely have no “teacher desk” in my classroom. This helps me with my stand goal daily. I am down 25 pounds and have 50 to go. Thanks for the inspiration.

Always nice to explore ways other folks stay in shape. Just about two years ago at height of pandemic I was tired all the time, very overweight (253 lbs.) and a candidate for Covid. I started walking and doing calisthenics. I added two half pound weights after a few months. My weight is now 191 lbs. and I'd like to drop a few more pounds to about 185. At 71 years old it ain't easy but I feel swell and fit into old clothes again. This is my Game Plan for life now.
One thing, so many "friends" never comment on my weight loss. They were there to mention my weight gains but are strangely silent on my successful weight loss. Not that I need an attaboy or pat on the back. Just curious why so many stay silent?? Losing 62 lbs over two years ain't remarkable but I'm satisfied. Nice video, lookin' good.
