Pickled Jalapeño 🌶:


-12 to 15 jalapeños chopped.
-6 garlic cloves chopped.
-1 cup white vinegar.
-1 cup water.
-1 tablespoon sugar. (More to make it mild)
-1 tablespoon canning or sea salt.
-1 mason jar.


• Boil water, vinegar, sugar & salt. Add in jalapeños and garlic. Stir and cook until the jalapeños turn olive green color. Pour liquid mixture, jalapeños and garlic into the mason jar and let them cool before you put them into the fridge.

There's no need to boil the jalapenos just pour the hot liquid over them.

When she put the hot jalapenos in the jar she should have put the mason lid on loosely and as it cools it will seal and still continue cooking and still cool down, then you can save them for two or three years at least..

Boil the jalapeños on a back burner with the exhaust on. The fumes are cRaZy!

I didnt boil the vinegar, but I also only afded vinegar no water

Any vinegar will not do. You need a specific acidity.

I would cook the jalepeno down. Just pour boiling liquid over it.

No insult to anyone, but this is unnecessary to make pickled pepper's. No boiling is needed at all
