Terry Kiser is underappreciated in his role as Bernie.

I remember watching this so many times as a kid and all I wanted was for Larry and Richard to have a good time at Bernie's beach house LOL.

The fact that this movie is so famous and yet so obscure blows my mind

My favorite line is when Richard encourages Larry to work hard to one day have a house like Bernie's:
"My old man worked hard. All they did is give him more work!"

Loved this as a kid, still love it as an adult.

This whole movie is just one giant "can't believe nobody noticed that" skit and it's hilarious.

When they get held up in Central Park
"Give me all your money and wallets!"
Larry "Eh get your ass outta here it's too hot!!" Lol

I got to hang out with Bernie, he is the coolest, nicest guy ever. He told me alot about the movie and told me about his acting school. Great guy.

When I saw this in the theatre I couldn't stop laughing when they were dragging Bernie behind the boat. His body bouncing off the bouys was the funniest bit.

I need to stop watching your channel. I get sucked in and get nothing done! Love your content!

My wife and I love this movie! My favorite part?? When Bernie is being dragged along behind the boat, and is striking every buoy.

"What's that sound?"
"I don't know."

I remember first seeing this movie in the middle of the morning on Comedy Central at my grandparent’s house in the early 2000’s. I stayed home sick from school and my parents were at work. I used to love missing school to watch some of these classic comedies on that channel.

That trend in the 2009 period of “movin like Bernie “ dance was hysterical. I liked both movies as a kid/teen and seeing the dance was definitely humorous

This is the only film I've ever watched, and then rewound and watched again.

The sequel wasn't THAT bad. I actually enjoyed it. The best scene was when the 2 guys were in the bathroom & Bernie gets up & starts walkin'. He's got this kind of leaned back pimp walk, ha.

Weekend at Bernie's is one of my all time favorite comedies. I most genuinely love anything with Andrew McCarthy. Don Calfa was a gem too. I wish the bratty kid would have been mentioned. That boy was a hoot! He went on to become a director and a producer in his own right. WAB's is a classic in every sense of the word. I can watch it over and over again.

I enjoyed Weekend at Bernie`s very much when it came out.
Part 2 was filmed right where I am typing this post, born and raised on the Caribbean island of St Thomas United States Virgin Island in the year 1991. The market square where you see him been pulled out the car as the car drives off is right down the hill from my house. I was 12 years old with a steel band called " The Rising Stars " which was in the production of the movie. We are all playing at the end of the movie in the parade seen. I loosely met the main actors of the movie and we got a early screening of it before it hit the theaters. Exciting times back then.
