Rest in peace, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. This is my favourite of all their movies together, they had perfect comic timing!

Pryor realizing he's a black man was one of the funniest things I had seen as a kid. Classic.

The line “You mean I’m not white!?!?……….. Does dad know!?! ” as Pryor slowly reaches up and touches his hair gets me every time….

One of my favorite comedy movies. Just one of the funny parts.
When Richard Pryors blind character is driving an talking to Gene Wilders character, Gene gets mad/scared an says "keep your eyes on the road!"

Then Pryor "if that will make you feel better"

Being 42 years old, I have the great pleasure of remembering this film in all its uncut glory thanks to my parents having Cable TV by the time this made the rounds on HBO!

:) Awesome movie! One of my favorites. I had a Huge crush on Joan Severance! The shower scene (Thank you)! If you didn't know she was in a Scorpions music video "Rhythm of love" ROCKS! ! Such a beauty.

The 80's were a different time. Two 9 year old buddies buy two tickets to this movie after being dropped off at the mall with no questions asked. We sat in the front row with our candy and laughed hilariously. Good memories.

The mugshot scene is extremely memorable and feels like a modern take on Marx Brothers and/or Abbott and Costello. Also Joan Severance is stunning.

Some of the best comedies ever came out in the 80's. Let's face it; that entire DECADE was controversial, even to this day...

These two were one the best comedy Duos that were not enough movies together even though they we're in quite a few it still wasn't enough. They had great chemistry and comedic timing

The best thing about 80's movies is that they left no stone unturned. They touched on almost every topic. I remember this movie like it was yesterday. Still laugh at it.

Fun fact: Richard Pryor was one of the writers for Blazing Saddles in which Gene Wilder starred as the Waco Kid.
