Finally something that gets to the point, instead of people who like to film their own hands and talk and talk and talk and never get to the damn point...

I used the boiling water method, it works for most weeds. Dandelion is not killed unless it is very small. If you mix vinegar with baking soda, it turns in to a chemical. Liquid dish soap is also a cemical. If you want to grow Dandelions as a food, have a corner of the garden growing them, but pick all the flowers before they go into seed, that way you prevent them from spreading. The problem is that seeds fly in from other people's yard too.

I love dandelions. The roots can be gently taken out washed. Dried and roasted use as chicory for coffee or eaten as a snack . Not to mention all the parts of this plant is edible.

Vinegar works very well, but combing baking soda and vinegar, then aren't you just making salt and carbon dioxide? Salt unlike Vinegar won't dissipate, it will stay in the soil and kill everything for years to come

Well I’m trying the vinegar and salt and dish Soap! Only thing I’m doing different is I’m gona boil the vinegar in my kettle cause it need de scaling anyway and spray the weeds with a hot spray since it’s not hot out ! Maybe the heat combined with spray will still do the trick 👍

Dandelions pop up in the spring, with their cheerful yellow flowers. Why do people hate them?

It should be noted that any soil that gets salted will not grow anything, lawn, weed or otherwise. Invading armies sometimes salted farmlands of enemy nations as they went through, to prevent those fields from being used for many years to come.

That weed held up in the first frame is wild lettuce that when prepared correctly is a pain killer. The worst thing we can do is spread chemicals that kill every good thing including all our pollinators.

Salt is great green type too for weeds and moss!

Dandelions are good for you and your lawn, Dandelions grow in your lawn because the soil is way to hard packed and there's not enough calcium in the soil, Dandelion leaves are loaded with calcium so if you just continue to mulch them they eventually quit growing after the roots loosen the soil and the leaves replace enough calcium to the soil

I have a large swath of Ivy, trumpet vine, and other weeds. Will this weed killer work on the Ivy? I’m going to try the baking soda and vinegar and water
