Nathan, long time listener. I recently signed up for the Seoul International Marathon coming up on March 19th. It will be my first full marathon and will try for sub 4 hours. I’ve been running 40-50 miles a week for the past 2 months with one long run and tempo run every week. My PB for Half was 1:36 last year so I figure I should be able to Sub 4 hours? I am a different runner with underlying health (hypoglycemia) and will be careful with this marathon and take lots of carbs and snacks to keep my glucose levels stable. Have you ever met any runners with diabetes running a full marathon? Any tips would be great. Thanks.

any recommendations in diet over the next week or so as I recover from my Houston effort? I am a balanced eater in general but I'm wondering if I need to load up on protein or something over the next few days, not to sound like a gym bro hahaha. Thanks!

Wouldn't this advice fall under the general principle of training that states the closer the race is, the more race-specific the training should be?

Hey coach, is there any downside of running all long runs (even in the “off-season”) at steady state? e.g 1 min/mile slower than MP? Do you think there’s more benefits or cons to this?
