Economic necessity requires I work two jobs. In the four months since I started, I've gained back five pounds.

But...thanks to testing that shows I have a genetic defect that interferes with vitamin B absorption, my doctor has me on a methylated B supplement that has greatly improved my sleep - 8 hours a night!
Despite the five pound gain, my clothes still fit loosely and I've gained muscle mass in my calves and biceps. I am not happy with the weight gain but I'm trying to keep it in perspective. And I'm lucky. My second job is in an art supply store. People tend to be happy and I love exchanging ideas about art and crafts. I even found a way to make time for crafting, which helps reduce stress.

I regained 15kgs in 5 mths after having lost 57kgs over 2 years, why? My stress level went through the roof when i tried to look after alone my dad who has dementia. It was zero sleep the entire 5 months. I was going crazy. Now, he is in hospital n eventually unfortunately nursing home. I am struggling to take off those 15kgs. Hopefully i will unwind soon n relax again n it will come off.

I went from 197 to 135 in 2018. Went of keto about mid 2019. Back up to 170 today :(

i stall out sometimes and stop loosing but ive never gained any back. its only for a cpl of weeks then i start loosing again as long as i stick to my plan.

I started the Ketogenic diet Monday, February 7, and this morning I’m down 20 pounds.
What people need to understand to remain successful on this “diet”, is to stop thinking about it as a diet, and start referring to it as a way of life.
The switch to Ketosis needs to become the “norm”
Ironically, I have advised my patients for years about low carbs, but didn’t take my own advice until late January. Thanks for all the information!

Since meditation or deliberate focus has been practiced for thousands of years why is it necessary to only do it when one is keto adapted? And my goodness Doc, do we really need a device to do this?.lolo...the addiction to ease, comfort and convenince rears its head again😀
