Great point to be made up front with this is that we are talking about STRENGTH and muscular endurance training and not hypertrophy training where the opposite holds true (slow eccentric only.)

So I've adapted this style of training for over 2 years now and my strength has increased dramatically. I train for strength and not size.

Doing slow reps is literally the exact opposite of what you want your muscles to do for strength and growth. You want to be explosive and strong, not weak and slow.

For bodybuilding it works. As a bodybuilder your primary goal isn’t to go into the gym, and throw weights around using momentum. As a bodybuilder it’s all about slow reps training to failure and recovering lots. I need to make a YouTube channel so many lies around the internet. I’ve came top 3 naturally in my country.

Greetings. Is it true that the boxer's set of exercises includes bench press, where weight plates
are present on one side of the barbell? This is due to the training of an explosive punch for boxing

Coach Dane, if a study says a message, how do apply that to your athlete? Since we all are unique, can you apply a single message to your athletes or do you 1st experiment with them to see how they respond to certain kinds of stimulus, instead of using a broad brush on all of them? I hope I explained my question well enough

In the long run it can help build more muscle because you are getting your body more comfortable, more stable, and more prepared through a longer range of motion, with control. The more you can control the weight the better you can execute repetitions, which can lead to better muscle gains when you apply muscle building principles, even though just doing slow&controlled reps is more for ensuring technique and improving mobility

If you’re going to link the deep dive why is this so long? Summarize for Hell sakes. At 2:49 I had enough of the deep dive, had to drop off.
