Do you sometimes wonder if it's possible to find more time in your day? There are hidden pockets of time within your work day. I share 5 places you can find those pockets in this video.

It’s easy to overlook them, but if you have a plan you will free up more time and be more productive.

Finding more time is like discovering a little gold in your work day. It’s precious and worth protecting.

Here are five places to find more time.

1. Waiting - between meetings and calls or picking up the kids from practice. Use this time to jot down some ideas or things that need to be added to your list.
2. Commute - Drive your meeting with a “hands free” call conversation or invite them to ride along with you. Get an audio download of those long trainings you MUST do at work. Ask someone to record a meeting you missed and then listen in the car or on the train. If you’re on the train use that time to read a book (business or personal) or jot down some notes as well.
3. Time Zone Offsets - Map the time zones of your meetings for the week with coworkers and clients. Identify the overlaps, align them, and free up the rest of your calendar.
4. Weekends - Weekend work isn’t always fun, but it’s often loaded with pockets of quiet time that aren't utilized.
5. The Bookends - Utilize the 15 minutes right before it gets busy at work or the 15 minutes right after everyone leaves the office.

Try these tips and see how more productive you will be.
