Even with the odds against them, the Thunder Warriors killed 3 Astartes for every one of their own slain. A thunder warrior named Ushotan even went so far as to hold his own against Valdor himself for a time before getting killed.

I love space marines but it’s crazy how powerful thunder warriors are an astartes is no match for a custodes let alone valdor but a thunder warrior was able to match him blow for blow in the valdor novel giving him a good fight before going down just goes to show how powerful they really are and what they could’ve been had the emperor improved on them
