Blender Secrets - Model a Cylinder with Holes

Using mostly modifiers, we can quickly create a complex cylinder with uneven holes, which can be used for modeling a gun barrel for instance.

So many tutorials covering this modeling problem - but this is the shortest and best. Great use of Modifiers.
The surface topology isn't a perfectly smooth cylinder, but it is still fine as an ordinary object.

thanks, until today i have used a cylinder as a boolean object to cut a hole in a cylinder, this opens up new possibilities for a clean mesh
