I’ve been training for over 30 years and have had several different body builds- powerlifter, bodybuilder, with decent success in both disciplines. At 53, I’m still grinding away, but with limited success if any. These videos have been the first thing that has broken me loose from this rut and started moving me forward again. I preach this channel to everyone I speak with at the gym and now see guys doing the same exercises. The best content for gaining muscle on the internet bar none !

I’ve gotten my puny arms to finally cross the 16 inch barrier and now onto 17! It’s a slow grind but is so worth it!! 💪

Preacher Curls + Back Supported Triceps Pushdown
Cable behind the head extensions + incline curls
for heavy low reps JM Press + Barbell Wall Strict Curls:
and you can superset
like biceps with bench press
triceps with squat in rest time between sets
this way you can train arms even 5 days a week

On my arm day how do I go for the close grip bench press without affecting my chest recovery?? Or If you combine the close grip bp on the push day how do you do so without hindering the rest of your chest exercises? Any guidance on how to intergrade those amazing tips in Split like Push Pull Legs Arms?

I’m on the Sam Sulek program lol. Heavy pushdowns and heavy dumbell curls 11-16 sets a week. Works fine. 👌

I train in a upper/lower split, I just started training arms on the lower split, before the legs, training arms first, when theyre not fatigued, is truly a big deal.

I'm currently on a short break with my family. Prior to leaving, I downloaded the 3 day mass builder because of its simplicity and intensity. I can't wait to get back and get to work. I turned 42 this month and have trained on and off for years. This guy is old school and honest. I'm in this for the long term. Good luck to all out there with fitness goals 💪

As a WH40K fan, specifically the world eaters, i love doing 8x8 heavy barbell curls

I'm sure you do the forgotten muscle; the brachialis, but what exercises do you prefer? Swiss bar hammer curl, rope on cable or dumbbells?

DO NOT TO TRICEP EXTENSIONS!!! Take it from me, I’m 50 years old and have been training since I was 13 and lying tricep and overhead extensions have ruined my elbows!! Stick to dips and close grip benches

I always say with Arms is if you never had them you will never get them.
My arms are my weakest body part. I’ve been around.
Competed in Jr Nats twice in the heavyweight division placed once.
My arms grew the most and finally filled out t-shirts when I stopped using free weights and did entirely machine and cable work using a moderate weight really squeezing and contracting visualizing.
Example:
Flat Bench Icarian Preacher Curl:
I’d use 100lbs for my final set for 12 really really squeezing and holding at the top of the movement for a full 3 seconds then slowly lowering until my arms were flat fully extended.

I’m here to say free weights aren’t the end all be all if you’re having problems making your arms grow try switching to all cables and machines using a moderate weight for moderate reps totally zeroed in on the mind muscle connection contracting with all your neurons and brain function.

To have big arms you have to work the bicep and tricep together I never separate the two... various compound sets are the best... most people don't know what a superset is... pre exhaust post exhaust and staggered sets are not supersets... the true meaning of a superset is pairing an antagonist with a Agonist exercise... however if you read and believe the literature they are wrong...just like reading the Bible misinterpretation runs rampant.
