The best way to practice is by using your summertime wisely and learning the foundational skills that you can build during the year. I've been playing rec volleyball for about 5 years an next year I'm going to be a freshman and in middle school I didn't make the team (I also didn't think that they gave everyone a fair chance) but I've been practicing my butt off every day for about a year and I think I've made a lot of progress... tryouts are next month and I'm already stressing 😭. I really want this.

Last school year I tried out for my school’s volleyball team(without any prior experience, only relying on what your videos have taught me), and I ended up making it on the jv and varsity team(as a 7th grader). hi! i recently found your channel and i just wanted to say how much your videos have helped me. i’m a 17 year old boy going into my senior year of high school, but i only stand at 5’5. i got into volleyball a few years back but was discouraged because of how tall most male players seemed to be. but this year i’m determined to break the stereotypes, and work hard to achieve my goal of hopefully getting to play volleyball on a team, and maybe even college. so thank you so much!! <3

Thank you for these great videos and tips!! My daughter is trying out for the volleyball team at her school next week. She is very nervous but has participated in several clinics this past year.
