After many years it’ll be second nature. It’s called “peppering”. A warmup drill. Teaches all techniques of volleyball. Arm swinging/hitting technique, bumping/digging technique, and volleying/setting technique. Single most effective approach to good fundamental mechanics.

That ball, the molten 5000, is actually very soft but Carries a lot of force On impact!
I played with it in a tournament and it really wouldn’t hurt your arms as much as other balls.
