This one is so true, during 9th grade I felt all of these throughout the school year and at one point I felt all of these in 2 days.

On Sunday my church youth group was practicing For a song we were gonna sing The following Sunday, It was a song that I've never heard of before and we've never sang before, And they gave me the paper and almost immediately we all started singing, I was getting so overwhelmed and frustrated because I was trying as quick as I could before we started to read over it and make sure I could Read all the words correctly, But we started singing before I was finished, I was trying so hard to focus on the words and try and read them right But even sometimes if I read them right in my head I would say them wrong and I was getting so frustrated and angry with myself, I was trying so Hard to hold back Tears.

It's hard sometimes being the only dyslexic Person in my youth group, Everybody in there knows I'm dyslexic including my youth pastor, But I Think sometimes they forget,

It's really silly but you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I was with my youth pastor's wife And we were on a topic about her Possible dyslexic coworker and she says "your dyslexic right jay?" I was So happy that someone remembered

I have all of that it is hard sometimes but it gets better the more you really try.

Omg! That one hit home. I was that kid in class every single day in the 90’s.
I haven’t opend a book since and I will never ever do. You were an outsider back then, if you read like a broken record. It felt like a curse and nobody wanted to be in your shoes.
If you said “I dont like school and books” then you were maybe a bit stupid in people’s eyes and needed to be dealt with. Still, to this day I’m paranoid about how I spell.

I really hope that kids today won’t be dragged sideways through school like I was.

I wish people would understand dyslexia more there are 7 different types 3 main ones and 5 lower class ones I have 2 of the main ones mixed about 1 in every 30 people have dyslexia and it can effect different people differently example I struggle a lot with reading and writing well I struggle more with reading one of my brother friends though dyslexia ment that you couldn't write properly I had to explain to him that I was stuck with a full on lurning disorder but even though I have dyslexia it's not stopping me from doing what I love and it shouldn't stop you.

My friend is the comlete opposite infact there was a time we had a sub teacher she was making us read the whole lesson she told off alot of people which were not reading so my friend but up her hand saying and i quote
" so u see miss there r some words i cant read properly and its cos i have dyslexia" to be fair my friend did finish her one piece manga tho so she just wanted to draw but the teacher said " *then read a dictionary * " my friend was shocked and so was the whole class we were all laughing and my friend was crying of laughter saying its the funniest response she has gotten to i cant read

alittle but the other side of me thanks to my adhd to also helps me with it and staying on top of my work and i am exeedingly smart thanks to my dyslexia and the fact i am twise exeptional
