I’m dyslexic, don’t read bottom up. I scroll to find key words to try and quickly find context. I do do it to check how much writing I have to look at but I start looking for the key words from top to bottom.

My teachers we’re always boggled because I would get a reading passage and read the questions first and then start reading the end of the passage to the beginning.

anyone dyslexic who has also found that while texting, you basically try to predict what is written by the other person, and in that process you end up planting your own thoughts or ideal image of the other person of what i want to hear??
I have done that and feel sorry for the other person

I often go onto an article and scroll all the way down so I can have a reasonable expectation for how long it’s going to take me to read it.

Hello I Have dislexia but i trained myself to read much faster but instead i will read only the main bigger words ands names so maybe only read 20% of the words and the rest is percieved from just remembering the pattern of the words and recalling the word that way rather then sounding it out in my head. Its not hard to learn but takes practice.
