The answer is yes; sometimes they do due to genetic factors and also issues with working memory.

Basically Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a type of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I'm diagnosed with both Dyslexia and ADD.

I have apd and dyslexia i have not been diagnosed with adhd and I don't think i have adhd cause I never get distracted from reading I want to read but i cant, I lose the sentence every time i finish the line i have to scan the page again and my comprehension and grammer is so bad to the point i dropped english in my first yr of hs because of the criticism from my teachers so i put all my effort into sports cause i am bad at math's, English

You know I spent A LOT of time at school (SLD/SEST/BDA) in the 80's being tested and taught as a dyslexic. How when I had hundreds of specialists looking at me for 10 years did they not pick up that I have adhd too!

My daughter was diagnosed as dyslexic and ADHD combination type. So she has hyperactive and inactive type of ADHD.
