Guys I am getting a ton of people commenting saying this doesnt work. Try the following to see if it helps.

1. make sure you are signed into your streamlabs obs encoder
2. select the display capture widget and if you see endless window loop after you added it to your sources then its working. If its just a black box like you saw before you added the widget something is missing.
3. if the widget is added in your sources and you are on a single monitor / laptop and its still black then clear the cache of the obs encoder in the obs setting. Try it again.
4. if that doesnt fix it then do a fresh uninstall / reinstall.
5. if that fails try using obs studio and see if the result is the same. If not then streamlabs obs has issues.
6. if all of it is still not working then contact obs support.

EDIT: someone in the comments below mentioned what they did to try to fix it. Try this.

Found a solution (at least for Windows). I put Steamlabs on my Desktop, right clicked, went to "Run with Graphics Processor > Integrated Graphics". It then worked for me. Hopefully this helps.

How do you set up the overlay and webcam on display capture? It shows on my game capture and I just wanna transfer all of that to display capture. Reasons being, division 2 crashes when I use game capture, I added the display capture but it doesn’t display my overlay nor my webcam.
