Even if it is true that Jesus married Mary Magdalene, I dont see any reason why it should be controversial. It does not affect in any way his teachings. Perhaps we have this notion that Gods should be gods and not act like humans? Even so, for those who can truly understand, it does not diminish Jesus' reputation as the son of God.

I find it funny that everything in the old testament is seen as golden truth, but when it comes to the teaching of Jesus not one person can read from the Bible without peraphrasing or wondering something different. It's almost like the evil is changing it to take away from and seed doubt.
