Fact check . The temple is not cursed, it’s just the spell used on the door to protect the treasure from looters like you know who ruled india until 1947.

Britain queen Elizabeth: what were we doing since 300 years that we can’t even loot this temple 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Wrong statement given, lower castes were not taxed, rather rich kings who were devotees, donated over hundreds of years. Also it is not cursed unless last unopened door is forcibly opened.

It's such a pity that such big channels like you didn't even investigate properly before making such documentaries.

"No, it is not of taxing lower caste income " it is about contribution of every devotee.

Lower caste were not taxed . Money is accumulated by devotees giving donations . Even kings gave donations.
Temple is not cursed. The last chamber is cursed. Which of opened will bring calamities.

I am from Trivandrum, kerala where temple is situated let me clear something
1: Temple is not cursed and it functions in efficiency on daily basis providing blessings to millions every day
2: The wealth of temple is from donations from various kings and devotes and its not a taxed money, unlike any government who tax the people.
3: Travancore kingdom is known for its best rule and spirituality who never discriminated anyone. do not mix caste into this which is very stupidity and misleading.

Correction: The treasure is from devotee donations over millennia. Its not tax. Tax is not kept in a temple. There's Varna System in India. Caste is a Portuguese European System which is a very different construct.

Shame on those behind this documentary. On what basis did you call this the cursed temple? This temple is the world famous SREE PADMANABHA TEMPLE, held in high esteem by Hindus esp by followers of Vaishnavism, allover the country. I as a resident of this city, named after the sacred serpent Anantha, has never heard of any such curse. The lord of this temple, Sree Padmanabha, is considered as the legitimate ruler of this city, which formed the capital of the local kingdom THIRUVITHAMKOOR, after the ceremonial dedication of the kingdom to lord PADMANABHA by the then king MARTHANDA VERMA, in the 18th century. Old timers and devotees still consider PADMANABHA as the legitimate ruler of the kingdom, because the treaty by which Thiruvithamkoor became part of India, was between the King, who is called PADMANABHA DASA, or servant of PADMANABHA and the representative of the Indian Union, PADMANABHA not being a party to the treaty. We are proud Indians but we still hold Him in great veneration and believe that it is His presence that has protected us from great calamities.
The tsunami that swept through Kerala and literally licked off parts of the neighbouring districts miraculously spared us. Maybe mere luck. But such is the faith of the people.
The B- vault alone is considered off limits. Because, oldtimers and devotees believe that at the time of consecration of the shrine, they invoked powers that control the elements, and virtually locked them up, inside the vault, to spare the region, from all natural calamities. They then set out to ensure that it will never be unlocked by invoking Nagas, the deities, who are considered protectors of treasures and enlightened souls, to protect the vault and ensure that the destructive powers locked up inside will never escape.
In Buddhist mythology, Muchilinda Naga, protected the Buddha from elements during his penance. In Jainism, Dharaneendra Naga is the protector of Parshwanatha Theerthankara. It is an old Indian belief. These are the most powerful and auspicious guardians of spirituality and all hidden treasures.
Neither the temple, nor the vault is cursed. That's a deliberate misrepresentation of beliefs.

I strongly object to this documentary… it is not a cursed temple, it’s one of the most beautiful temple of India. Pls check facts before making the documentary.

🤣😂 Mleccha's are looking at the wrong treasure. Our treasure is not locked up in any vault, but is Lord Padmanabha himself. Who needs stones & rock when we have the Emperor of the Universe himself with us.

I don't know much about the gentleman talking about taxing lower caste people....but I do believe we should refrain from talking about topics we know little about. most of the treasure is from gifts and donations from other civilizational states and kingdoms of ancient times ...it's a donation towards the deity lord padmanabha... 🙏

Jim dobson is ignorant when he says all these wealth the kings got by taxing lower caste people. This temple was a royal kingdom temple and all this was donated by royal princes and Common people of this kingdom, as part of their devotion and gratitude to the God.

harishramaswamy

It was not collected from taxes. it is the accumulation of donations from devotees over centuries. Check your source before saying it..

Westerners found caste system here as well 😅 That’s just one temple. Our dozens of temples possessed such wealth before invaders looted us. Anyways we still have a lot.
