2018 Mac Mini REVIEW - WHO IS THIS THING FOR?

The Mac Mini actually got an update! It now comes in Space Grey, has new internals and your choices have never been more difficult in around the $1000 price point. Here's my 2018 Mac Mini review!

I really appreciate your videos but I think the Mac mini is for the person who wants more power than a MacBook pro but doesn't need the iMac pro power nor it's price.

I love my Mac Mini. It's perfect for someone who wants access to Mac services but doesn't use it to the extent that they can justify spending 2-3K on it.

The Mac Mini finally got a much deserved update! Did anyone else think it was RIP for Apples smallest computer. Obvi it’s portable but I’m not too sure how many of you have multiple monitors and extra peripherals in every place you travel to?

I think the point is MacBook Pro is a laptop, the space is very limited, it is not good for it to running intensive work for longer periods time, the heat is trapped inside the chassis, this will cause hardware under stress all the time, Mac mini has ample space to output the heat

i feel like the design is nice, but i wish apple made the mac mini and the macbook air more affordable as they are the "budget" products from apple

Why did you compare a desktop computer to a notebook? Seems like a pointless comparison to make, Mac Minis tend to sit in one place and left running, not be moved about, plus connect an EGPU and it’ll challenge the performance of the base iMac Pro. For less then half the price! Providing you get the i7 version. That’s something the MacBook Air can only dream of doing, the performance difference is massive between the new i7 Mac Mini and MacBook Air. One uses dual core low power chips, the other full desktop version multi core chips!

Basically the option for multiple monitors (super wide screen, etc, ) in one stationary place is where the Mini shines.
