Please open the back side and show the place were ram is inserted. Does it have user serviceable ram ? How many slots are there inside for the ram 2 or 4 ? Do the number of slots vary with different mac mini models ?

Does it thermal throttle when being under constant load? Also the core clock is on factory already lower than the standard spec 8700K. Can you compare that to a normal 8700K PC build?

Was considering one as a media server. For the cost, I got another refurbished 2012 13” MBP, upgraded to 1TB SSD, 16GB ram - all for less than the cost of this. The CPU and GPU improvements in the new Mac Mini are likely are worth the extra $200, but it’s no longer viable low end media server option like the old one. At this price, we’re getting to iMac territory. Same with the MacBook Air - cost wise, it’s at MacBook 12” levels and creeping up to MBP prices.. crazy.
