Wow Matt, you are a life savior, love your videos, and this one just blew my mind. I was looking for a tool I can use to manage all social media and content with all employees, and I never thought of using lists for it. Genius.
Please publish the next video about how to actually manage the content and move it from idea to published as soon as possible. Hahaha. 😊😊😊💡

Great example, Matt. With these kinds of items, I typically use Excel because that's what I'm most comfortable with. I will need to see if you have a comparison video, or something around the benefits of using Lists over Excel. On a totally unrelated note, you have such a pleasant and soothing voice. Doing a guided meditation or a "let me help you fall asleep" podcast would be an excellent side hustle. 😁

Do you know if there is a way to customize which field are shown in the New Item form according to the value of a field ? In your example, would there be a way to have a different set of field in the form whether the item is of type 'Youtube', 'Blog' or 'Class' so those that are irrelevant to a specific type are not shown ?

Thanks. Just wondering if we can add cascading drop-down in Microsoft Lists. I tried the lookup functionality but couldn't get it work.

Thank you for this video! Can we create notifications for new entries that are specific? For example, depending on the managers name that is entered on a form, an email will trigger to only that person so they know they have a new entry specifically for them.

Hi Matt, great stuff you guys are doing. I have run into a problem when trying to insert Links from a document library. When inserting the link into the List it comes up to show "URL cannot be longer than 255 characters" Why does this error message show up and how do I fix this? In other Lists I have this doesn't happen. Thanks for your help and keep up the great work.

Need urgent help。 I add attachment into the list and after I download the excel， the Attachment shows pathway is to my personal file, but I cannot find that file， do you know where the location is normally Microsoft list save the file？

Any idea how to handle comments or activity logs in Lists in a way that works both in Teams and in SharePoint?

Almost any List involving multiple people will involve someone having to do or keep track of something. Do you have example of integrating Lists with To Do (or any other way for individuals to track "my stuff" in Lists)?

Nice video as ever, but id probably use planner for something like that as most of the fields are in planner and the visual “kanbahn”approach is usually well received, BUT The point of my comment is really that it would be great if MS lists provided a column/tile view because then it would solve the issue that planner has were its not at all customisable (like Trello is)
