I was hoping you would do a video after I saw it!

I would LOVE to see this integrated in OneNote.

Good quick overview. Clients like it short and sweet to start with. One thing you didn't seem to highlight was the ability to import Excel spreadsheets where many people store their current departmental lists. I saw a brief mention of Excel, but you might spend a quick 15 seconds pointing it out. Otherwise nice job. There are many deep dives in the product but I spend a lot of time just acquainting clients to do more with Office 365 than just use Sharepoint and Teams.

If I am trying to set up a place where we can track recurring tasks that need to be completed each month, is Lists a good service for that?

Very pretty on the front-end, but I can’t find any information about how managers can run reports on this data. Can multiple Lists be queried together with the data presented in Power BI, for example?

One of your best videos ever Francesco, finally throwing us Microsoft folks a bone:). This is the most cool, innovative thing I ever seen from MS. To Do is still an absolute joke, almost no functionality even after the update. I am a kanban junkie & Planner is an incredible joke (2008 called & it wants it's kanban back!).
I can't wait to show this to my boss, we started using Teams just recently.

Too bad you didn't explain Microsoft Lists. I came here looking for a basic explanation of Microsoft Lists and I came away with no understanding of Microsoft Lists. Great job!

So can this be used for agile and sprints?

When is this available? Not seeing the app in our Office 365 E3 sub.

Pretty Exciting :)
Just wondering to know that is Microsoft Lists is based on the platform of the SharePoint list? or on the Microsoft Dataflex (Formerly known as CDS)?

Just in case if it is based on the SharePoint list platform so is it create the SharePoint site as well? i.e. as MS Teams create.
On the other hand, if it is based on Dataflex (CDS) so is the SharePoint current list threshold limit to view only 5000 items are going away?

Will this be available to Consumer subscriptions as well?

Airtable is much, much better. MS List feels half finished by comparison and I've yet to find a real world use for it. There are many great things about AirTable that I like. My favourite is that it's easy to cross reference multiple lists.

Since most people (my guess) that most people have never used Airtable, why so many comparisons.

what's next, Microsoft version of Notion? .. oh wait is that what MS Fluid do?

I wonder if it would have the same limitation as the one in Sharepoint such as view threshold limits, lookup limits

what we see from the video is that Microsoft Lists probably lack of record level access control. Either share all the information or not use Microsoft List at all. this will limit the usage a lot.

Very similar to Airtable. Is it free? Like Onenote (for example).

It seems improvements to SharePoint List has slowed down. Why would they introduce another app for lists when they have SharePoint? Roll the work they’ve done in Microsoft Lists into SharePoint.
