The first one called Shawarma, the Börek = Borekas, Mene Men = Shakshuka, I was so surprised to see at turkish series that it is food you know, People in Israel think it is an Israeli food, but I think the source of it is in Morocco/Tunisia/Tripoli.
I love Grapevine leaves...we have it here in Israel of arabs, Druse and so many jews that came from all over the world, even from Turkey.
Baklawa we also have here.
I wish to visit in turkey again after so many years I wasn't there.
I also heard the Ayran you talked about it, Yogurt soup, Simit, The bread that looks like baguette, Sutlach - Pudding rice with Cinnamon, and also Malabi in Turkish Muhallebi, we also have it here. We also have here Lachmajun (Lahmacun) but it doesn't looks like a pizza but more as rowboat shape, as Khachapuri shape...

Hello Fatih,
Thank you very much for your channel and videos. Can i ask you a question? I dont like lamb and my understanding is all the meat in Istanbul is lamb. Are there any places that make the food you mentioned with beef not lamb? Or even chicken?
