Filipino usually wake up 4 or 5 in the morning so they need heavy breakfast to start up there morning and of course the beef usually marinated overnight and then they cook it early in the morning and other tropical countries tend to have heavy and high-protein breakfast because it takes so much energy to those people to regulate their bodies in hot and humid environments especially those who don't have AC in their work places or schools.

I'm a Filipino but I ain't upset with him choosing the other dish since obviously he's a foreigner but generally, we Asians esp Filipinos have rice in every dish like even for snacks/desserts we have champorado, biko, suman, palitaw, puto, bibingka, and etc. 🤣

That's only partially Turkish breakfast. You need to add sucuk and/or pastırma and/or menemen and/or eggs. Also pekmez and tahin should be there.
