Imagine if we changed the national anthem to the Top Gun anthem!

For those who do not know, Steve Stevens, best known as Billy Idol's guitarist and co-songwriter, is the one who did the guitar work for the Top Gun Anthem for the movie and soundtrack.

I had been in LA, and watched first time Top Gun in LA in 1986 with my children. Now I back to Tokyo Japan. I watched Top Gun many many times since then, and waited waited for Top Gun 2. Now my dream comes to true. I watched Top Gun 2 the other day in Tokyo. I missed Goose but happy to see ICE Man again. From bottom my heart, ICE Man love you and pray for you coma back to screen again again again !

Definitely an emotional guitar solo for me I was 19 yrs old in Navy boot camp San Diego and it was the night before my company’s graduation. My Company Commander treated us to the Top Gun movie in the barracks. How cool was that. That’s why this movie will always be special to me. Drill Company 915!!
