The Squier Classic series are UNNEATABLE for the price!!! I have over a hundred guitars and the "Classic Vibe" series hold their own with my original 60's Strats.... They're amazing guitars!!!

I have a Squire classic vibe Strat and I love it. Great value. Fret ends may need smoothing but otherwise very good guitar for the price.

I saw Fender Acoustics at Costco. I bought one. It's actually not horrible. Plays in tune, mostly. I wouldn't play it on stage but it wasn't meant to be. It's a GREAT guitar to play around the bonfire. I've never seen a Squier Standard Strat at Costco.

Squires can be pretty decent these days. The Squire “Esquire” was a great!
