Even these nibbling around the edge attacks must annoy the hell out of the Russians. They have to respond in beefing up defences or move their toys elsewhere to avoid breakages.

Although it might not be as much a success as we hoped it would have certainly made the Russians push their operations even further away and less lethal, hopefully.

Can't have everything all the time! Knowing the Ukranians they will analyze, learn and hit double as hard and precise the second time! It will happen!

This clearly is a Doolittle-Raid: it either makes them overconfident or sceares them, no matter if a lot or hardly any damage was done. Well done Ukraine!

The fact is that it's another step forward just like the black sea fleet not all success but gradually 30% destruction

never stop with the jokes, they are excellent thank you

Which way it appears to be pointed can be affected by the shooting angle of the satellite camera. It's also possible that the aircraft was rotated by ground crew for some reason.

Drone me once, shame on you
Drone me twice, shame on me

Possible fluid leak under the wing root of the second one.

Thanks Suchomimus for your diligence. Often the first to alert me to the good news, and then to correct it if needs be. We all hoped for better, but on failure future success can be built. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Evacuating an entire airfield every time a few drones head your way can get expensive, tiring and can lead to mistakes or complacency.
Good hunting, Ukrainian Drone Teams.

Perhaps this will give some perspective on damage likely done. I am an old head from USAF and airline maintenance background. If a bomb explodes near an aircraft with nothing blocking the shock wave, considerable damage is likely. There are accounts from WW2 of bombers dropping bombs at low altitude and subsequently being destroyed by the shock wave from the very bomb they just dropped. During my time in USAF I was aware of measures taken to protect bombers from the shockwaves of their own munitions. Long winded way of saying that if a jet was in a revetment and a bomb blew up in there or near there ahead of the nose, that jet certainly needs repairs. Further, I have witnessed damage to jets following extreme wind gusts, which are mild compared to bombs. Jets deal very well with winds they naturally create but very poorly with high (or higher) velocity winds created otherwise.

Ministry of Silly Walks just about sums up the entire Russian Military.

Any damage might be total loss.

Depends if they have any spares after all the damage cause across the fleet

They weren't moved since 20 minutes is not enough time to move aircraft. The hangers are relatively far away; ground crews then must get there with the cart; fasten a tug arm properly to the jets;
remove chocks; release brakes from inside the cockpit; apply settings for no thrust aircraft movement and chances are there was only one cart available on short notice so moving two planes doesn't wash. All this had to be done under whilst under the influence. The slight aircraft movement is due to shockwaves from multiple detonations. Moreover the UAF more than likely would have used fragmentation ordinance with airburst capability causing extreme damage to the airframe undetected from a distance. This explains the random minimal ground effects.

They wouldn’t have parked that SU34 in exactly the same place after the strike. My bet it wasn’t moved and was damaged as a result of the strike and simply left until they decided on next steps,

If they are using tungsten ball ammo then damage won't appear to be that much nor will there by burn marks. Just a lot of holes.

I find it hard to believe they evacuated 30ish planes in 20 min. Just the timing to alert pilots, start engines, taxi and take off would be chaotic. You know Russians are not competent enough to do it unless they are having to do it a lot. 😂
