That's a neat tool. I usually use tears and the old saying, "why is this happening?"

Those Irwin turbo sockets are what Snap on puts its name on. About as good as they get. Thanks for the tips with the chisel. All the best.

1 little tip for you sir is this those nice bolt removal set would have easly take it out if you had used it the right way first of all but it on the extention and put the right grab or bite socket on it now place it onto the nut you want to remove and tap it with a hammer several times this ensures that the socket bites into the nut and makes a small indentation and bite mark to start the grab once you apply pressure on it that is how they are designed to be used :P try it next time you will see it works alot better

Question I just put a new suspension on my car well dude that helped me didn’t but hand tight the 3 bolts at the top of the strut so when I found out I stopped went to tighten them down and for some reason wasn’t thinking and was tightening one and just kept going and I stripped it so I went little by little till I got the other two nuts tight but now I have a popping sound at the top of the strut I am thinking that one nut is stripped is going it just enough room to pop on bumps how can I get it off and not hurt the threads on the strut part and this is a very tight area the hood and windshield whispers and all are in the way of the top of the strut in this car it’s crazy but any help be great

So I have a flanged nut, the shaft is tool long for a deep socket, so it’s stripped from trying to get it loose, trying the chisel, afraid of hitting the threads and messing them up, it’s a tight space for hammering it, can’t get the chisel straight on, ugh. (Watched videos, either they didn’t show how they got this nut off or they didn’t have any issues, looked easy, like the engine was still fairly new at the time.🙄) …thinking of using my dremel, but, again, afraid of messing up the threads.

Have you tried Gearwrench bolt biter. Are they any good in these kind of situation?

That’s a nut not a bolt, you cannot remove a bolt that way, you even say nuts and bolts at the end!

the 10mm nut i had was completely rounded off. I tried these tornado nut remover sockets and they didn't work until I used a 3/8in. size. The 3/8in. tornado socket gripped it and took it out immediately.
