I love that Sansa laughs after Arya mentions her list. It's such an older sibling thing to do this loving amusement with Arya's seriousness.

I don't know if it was just me, but Jon and Sansa's reunion felt more heartwarming than Jon and Arya's reunion which I thought was strange because Sansa never really respected Jon until she lost most of her family. Also, Jon and Arya were a lot closer than Sansa and Jon.

The childish grin on Arya's face when she explains the "list" to Sansa took me all the way back to Arya's smile in episode 2 of the series.

I actually really liked this scene. Sansa hugs Arya and Arya doesn't really react, because A) They were never really close to begin with, and B) She's a cold-hearted killer now. But after a brief conversation and some shared experiences and a mutual respect for each other's survival through unbelievably bleak circumstances, at the end it's Arya who goes back in for the hug.

They had it so tough. All the Starks did. The last season was an absolute dumpster fire but I love that they ended it with the Starks.

this is my opinion: I think the reason why it felt more heart warming because it was the first stark reunion. We've been waiting for so long for the starks to catch a break that I think we all agreed that Jon and Sansa's reunion was a relief beyond measure and it felt that things will start to go right for the starks this time. Sansa and Theon character development were the ones that I enjoyed the most; Sansa was a brat that envied women in kings landing and enjoyed fairytales at the start. She may have been a brat to Jon as a child, but I'm sure after everything she went through in KL and the Boltons, she learned to love and value home and the people in it.

I always loved that, despite the fact they argued with each other and were completely opposite from one another, both Sansa and Arya respected and cared about each other. That's a real sibling relationship.

Totally random but anyone ever notice that Sansa and Robb were similar in both personality (proud, confident, entitled when they were young) and appearance - taking after the Tully side while Arya Jon and Bran were similar in appearance (dark hair, darker eyes) and personality - taking after the Stark side. And Rickon? Well who knows lol

I did not appreciate this scene enough for the first time. We did not see them for a while together. But when you remember how their relationship ended severel years before... this is a full-scale drama. They are adults, so they do not care about childish anger any more... but they also did not forget. They don't know what to believe, how much they can trust each other - yet later they decide to do so. The tension here... amazing

Their reunion reminds me of Ned and Roberts reunion in season 1. The faux hostility followed by a loving embrace.

Only thing I find weird in this reunions are that they only seem to miss their father. They never mention Robb, Rickon or Catelyn. I am pretty sure the showrunner just forgot about them. Looking forware to the books to fix all of this.

So much stories divided into different characters could carry a whole individual show based on their own archs, and somehow HBO dared to separate them for almost 10 years to deliver to us the Best TV ever made. I thought I dont going to be alive to witness another production to be close as GOT Ever, I just feel grateful to be here since the first day to enjoy this masterpiece.

How Arya and Sansa's reunion should have been:

Arya: (laughing maniacally) ....and then I carved up his children, cooked them into a pie, fed it to him and slit his throat!
Sansa: (chuckling) well I had him tied to a chair, fed him to his starving dogs and watch every last bit of his flesh eaten!
