She started out with the PROS. I admire her for that. Then she let us know the down side. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I worked for State Farm as an agent for almost 4 years. In all honesty, I learned a lot in my time there and refined my skills and I’m grateful for that. However that company is beyond greedy. Most of the agency owners are extreme micromanagers to the highest degree. It’s like working at a glorified call-center that happens to sell insurance. Everything is watched. Everything is monitored every click every phone call etc…craziness. Juvenile environment almost. Took my experience and moving on to another agency was the best decision I ever made on so many different levels. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. Look at State Farm as a steppingstone job. Get your foot in the door, gain your experience, and then get the hell out of there.

You seem so sweet. I would never behave this way toward employees. A kind attitude is a rare asset. I hope through the many thousands of views, you find a better situation.

You DID NOT work for State Farm, you worked for a State Farm agent. They are independent contractors, small business owners and you were his/her employee.
You seem so smart and talented that you'd probably be a good fit for another State Farm agent or another company.
An agent staff position could be a stepping stone into owning your own agency. Seems like you'd be an excellent candidate. Establish your own agency, be your own boss!

i been with State Farm for over 20 plus years never had a problem until I filed a claim for my home that was damaged from the storm and was told it was an act of God. Now I am applying to FEMA for help. I think it time for a change.

You are definitely telling the truth. I worked for State Farm for 2 years in the atlanta area as a team member with the promise of becoming an agency owner. Micromanagement and disrespect was very common. I was constantly told to sell more when my agent did not want to spend money on marketing. Corporate would do tele-interviews but never hire me. It was confusing as I had so many years experience. I would tell people that unfortunately StateFarm is a dead end job with no benefits. I wish I had not wasted my time there.

I truly believe and understand her. What she describes though happens to EVERY industry where there are PEOPLE, every where, ALL the time. Its sad that you have to constantly battle at your work place for any amount of salary. Glad she moved on.

Little people belittle people. Hooray for you, for moving on from all that toxicity. Micromanaging happens when people stop growing, stop evolving and micromanaging is all they really have. So glad you got your license, freedom and your peace of mind. Thank you for sharing your experience. All of this was helpful information. I wish you all the best.

A lawsuit is being made, by Dr Carla against state farm, for racism. I suggest that anyone that works or worked for state farms. Learn how to join in on said suit. Don't look for an apology, just get the bag.

All I have to say... YOU GO GIRL! You have all the right attitude and intelligence to have any Job you deserve. In a job today, company need to know that, for every one good employee there is 20 bad employee that have waisted company time and money too hired. So they need to give respect to get respect.

I dig yo courage for making this video, because you are explaining many many job situations. I worked at my job for 30 years and there was always a superior who claimed they knew everything better than you but no two supervisors did the same thing the same way. But when u become a slave to the money u conform. Two thumbs up for being brave enough to leave

I’m sad they ruined a great opportunity for you 😢 you seem like a very smart young woman and I think all you needed was a different agency with sales training. I wish you so much SUCCESS ❤

I worked at corporate and it goes deeper than that…some people suffer so much disrespect during course of the day they cry during meetings, Ian’s I’m talking bout grown men. The plotting and sickness is wild.

I’m so happy I bumped into your channel, I just started working for a local State Farm agent, but I’m struggling with their multiple platforms!!! It’s driving me crazy, I’m going on my second week and the training is all over the place, , I worked for another insurance company for 7 years (Allstate)and that system was so advanced and super easy!!! But my ex boss never provided benefits, and her micromanaging was ridiculous even though I was there for 7 years!!! But my guess is that independent agents can do whatever they want since we are under them even though we represent the insurance company 😕 I really don’t want to be jumping around from company to company, but the systems used at State Farm are a tad complicated 😞
