I hope this is a reminder to him that there are still people that believe in him.

Looking at how Booth's posturing changed throughout the video is just heartbreaking.

At the beginning, he looks hardened, bitter, and angry, when she addresses him he perks up slightly, and when he recognizes her, his face lights up and you get to see the person his friends and family likely see. In the space of a few seconds you witness this huge range of identity that won't people don't think about when you see mug-shots or criminals.

Watching him breakdown was difficult, but it's nice to be reminded of how much we are taught to simply people, especially criminals.

Wow.. this is really sad.
Him hearing how he was in middle school.
He'll definitely have something to reflect on that day.

"Always wondered what happened to you, sir." Wow, he really was the nicest kid in middle school, probably the nicest middle school kid ever lived. I do not even remember who was the nicest kid when I was in middle school and I am much younger than her.

This is so fucking sad,
I cried and yet this judge keeps her composure and he looses it
I cant explain it and don't understand why it effects me so much.

Maybe this is the two way street he needed to see, hopefully after his time served he takes the right path.

You guys saying this is how black people communities are going are misunderstanding what really happened...
Psychological standpoint:
Middle school 6th-8th grade
If you were the best kid in school at that age your parents did a good job raising you..
What changed? High school, puberty.. Your friends..
This proves what hanging around the wrong people will get you.. Mind your company.. Cant really blame the area as this woman went to the same school and ended up a judge. Cant blame the parent because by the time you're in middle school your parents have had 11-14 years of good teachings if you were as nice as this judge made you out to be.
High school is were kids rebel against their parents and try to become their own person.. And hanging out with the wrong crowd.. This i what it gets you.

It pretty emotional and made me tear up. I wish she hadnt said "I hope you change your ways" and more said "I sorry to see what happened to you". She has no idea what led him to this point. It doesnt always have to be solely his fault. She did however come of sincere and wishing him good will. Dont think it will solve his problems but if it helps him that be nice.
