Ten months after a judge came face-to-face with a former classmate in her courtroom; she was there to meet him as he was released from jail. Miami Judge Mindy Glazer gave Arthur Booth tough love as they were reunited. 'You've got to take care of your family, try and get a job, stay clean,' she told him. Last June, Judge Glazer made headlines when she recognized Booth, a burglary suspect, when he entered her court. She remembered him from middle school. #InsideEdition

She let him know the real him that he once lost. She saved him.

She’s so respectful of him. She used the term “sir” instead of “him”

A judge that is not afraid to associate herself with a jail timer. She is humble and respectful as a law enforcer and a human being. Sets such a good example

She truly cared for him. What a great example to the community. She is so humble and respectful. We truly need people like her. Kudos to her

She probably freaking gave him back his soul and his life, and all you talk about is how she hugs? Ridiculous.

Just checked the prison records...he hasn’t been back since!

The fact that she said “I wonder what happened to him” meaning she still thought about him from time to time and wanting to know whether he was successful in life is just heartwarming and very thoughtful of her.

The judge telling the others that he was the nicest kid in the school while he cried brought tears to my eyes.

He’s crying because he realizes just how far he has fallen and what he could have become. I wish you well and rooting for your success.

The first "Oh my goodness" is him realizing, it is a classmate

The second "Oh my goodness" is him realizing, what situation they're in

The third and rest of them, is his feeling of guilt, shame and sadness...

This is so painful. I checked his records, it's been 6 years so this release since he's been back. I think this might've actually truly been life-changing for him. And who knows what circumstances drove him into those decisions, we'll probably never know. I hope he's doing well.

Apparently this guy is now working as a manager for a pharmaceutical company. Bravo!

That judge probably saved that man's life! He seemed genuinely touched that someone remembers him as a decent person that lost his way. I hope he gets his life together.

Final point. She didn’t even sentence him. She had to defer the case because she cared about him. She still came to visit him on release anyway. She’s just a good person. I respect her immensely.

After almost 10 years he kept his promise, stayed clean, got a job, managing a big pharmaceutical company.
He did the right choice.
Never is too late!

Some times it only takes one person to make a difference in someone’s life. She made that difference. Bless them both.

The fact that she remember the day of his release and present herself there has already spoken much that she cares about him as her former classmates. Who cares with the hugging?? Geez!

To hug the same judge who sentenced you to 10 months to jail is a hell of integrity all the way around...I hope this guy did something good with his life

Alot of emotions went through that guy's mind. The joy of seeing a childhood friend, then realisation of the current situation, then the shame of seeing the difference between them. Finally the reminder of what he could have been and someone truly remembers him as a nice person. Really hope this guy can turn around and stay out of trouble

What matters is after 10 months she remembered and TOOK TIME from HER schedule to go see him being released
