Ukrainians Block Russia's Access to Europe's Largest Nuclear Power Plant

Russian forces fired missiles at Kyiv and bombarded cities across Ukraine, as President Vladimir Putin pushed ahead with his invasion in disregard of a United Nations vote to immediately halt the fighting.

As the war entered a second week, it became ever clearer that a humanitarian tragedy is unfolding in Europe. Refugees continued to spill over the borders, with more than a million people leaving Ukraine for neighboring countries. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy accused Russia of a deliberate strategy “to ruin our cities, to kill our people, to take from us everything that we hold dear.”

i pray for these people that putin wasn't just testing the waters with the first week of the invasion... all of these people are human just like you and i. we all wake up hoping for something good to happen every day. a war is the complete opposite of that... these leaders need to get in a ring (to the death maybe?) to settle their disputes rather than killing all the innocent people who have nothing to do with it.

What is happening is horrible, what has happened to the people in Donbas region since 2014 is absolutely terrifying. Those people have been living through absolute HELL for years. Why was there no help for them all these years. Why hasn't the media covered thier story. The only reason I know about it is because of current events in Ukraine prompted me to do research.
