“Count Dooku, as with any character portrayed by Christopher Lee, is a pleasure to watch.”
Amen.

Dooku was the perfect Jedi. Isolated, almost no family, sure of himself, precise, powerful, able to think on his feet, courteous, and without strong emotional attachments to anyone or anything. Really, his issue wasn't that he "fell" to the Dark Side; it was that if he never did, he might have wound up in the exact same place.

It's poetic; He was a good man who believed that the ends justified the means, but in indulging in that practice and allowing Sidious to influence him, he became a horrific parody of himself.

Let's all agree on one thing: Dooku had the best lightsaber. The fact Christopher had more swordfights than anyone on film and had a hand in the design of it surely helped.

Count Dooku has the most beautiful Lightsaber style I've seen.
Graceful, precise and no wasted movements.

Nice to see Dooku getting more attention. Such a complex and compelling character. Much like Anakin hes a case of good intentions going horribly wrong.

Christopher Freaking Lee was truly one of the most influential and greatest actors I’ve ever seen! What an amazing man!

Dooku is the example of the hidden flaws of the Jedi. He wanted to be strong and the best dialect but when they didn’t let him, he became what they wanted, he realized how wrong the Jedi were, and “fell”

Dooku is such a morally Grey character. He has sith lightning but never had Sith eyes which I find interesting.

Can we all just pause and appreciate the multitude of thoughts and feelings Christopher Lee practically rolodexes through during the scene where Palpatine orders Anakin to kill Count Dooku, as well as Anakin's hesitation?

In Attack of the clones, he has a look of sadness when he talks about Quigon, when Obiwan and Windu refuse to join him, and when he cuts off Anakin's arm. I don't believe he is actually cold and emotionless but that it is just a mask he wears.

Dooku's backsotry has quite a lot of paralels with Sauron in the Sillmarillion

Crazy how unique and different each of Lucas's villains are. Vader is just so good he outshines the rest.

If only this video was made after the release of Tales of the Jedi. It truly has made an excellent visualization of Dooku's disillusionment of the Jedi Order and fall to the dark side that stemmed from a ever caring man that wanted to better the Republic.

Dooku is my favorite Sith Lord. Always has been. It started just bcz of Christopher Lee's performance when I was a kid but as I grew up & got into it I realized how dope he was. The Dark Side was a tool, not his life, but that coupled with overestimating self worth & underestimating Papa Palp led to his eventual downfall.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions. Fits dooku pretty well

Count Dooku was easily one of my favorite Sith Lords in the Star Wars lore.

The most underrated SW villian. Also - Cristopher Lee was the only SW cast actor who actively practiced Real life sword combat, and literally were a war veteran. When Brit Queen granted him knighthood, she knew that this time - it wasn't just a fancy title (looking at u Elton John)
His fencing style the most awesome bc: 1) it looks very elegant. 2) it closest to what a real saber/rapier fencing looks like
