I think there is no moral dilemma in buying a dog. As long as people are ready for this commitment and able to properly train their dog. Then there would not be a need for so many shelters in the first place.

As an east asian, sold pets are always locked inside of small glass and will be trashed if nobody was there to 'buy' them. To me, No matter what anyone says, 'buying' pets means freeing them from that kind of life. Also, ain't no way PETA felt like they had rights to claim those things 💀
