The irony of Nikki kicking Mick out of the band due to poor playing is rich. Mick Mars has always been the best musician in Motley Crue without question.

I was fortunate enough to run into Mick after they played a show in Seattle back in the 80's. He signed autographs and chatted with us. He was down to earth even in the height of their fame. The others were acting like rock stars and being treated as such. He was above that and I have always remembered how good he was to his fans.

Nikki had no idea how beloved Mick Mars is and now he's learning the hard way.
I lost all respect for Nikki, Tommy, and Vince for what they did to the best one of them.

Last time I went to see Motley Crue was 2015 when I was given a free ticket. They came on stage playing shout at the devil and Nikki played the first 30 seconds of the song with his bass transmitter off. His roadie had to come out and turn it on. Yet the bass was playing through the PA the whole time.

The number of times I've seen local tribute acts blow the real band away, often after putting in an entire shift at their day-job, has me just shaking my head.

Mars is a legit musician. If anyone would be upset with a band faking it, it would be him.

I once saw Head from KoRn fight with his pedal for half of “Falling Away From Me” and I loved every second of it. He’s a human like me!

Mick has always been the only real truthful dude in the band who was there for the music first and foremost. If anybody of Motley Crue can be believed to tell the truth, it's Mick.

Imagine paying $2500 just to listen to someone hit play on the stereo.

Mick claimed he hates the way he looks, but the man still has rockstar energy that the other three don't have.

Was at a concert at the forum. The guitar player broke his high e string mid solo . He just kept fake playing.... the song kept going, and no one seemed to care or noticed... 😢

What they're doing to Mick Mars is despicable. That lawsuit is crazy I suggest everybody read it or find a YouTube channel of it being read. It's terrible what they've attempted to do to this guy who basically founded the band and has been a 25% owner of it for 41 years.

Last summer they were playing at festival and there was nothing else going on so I went to see them. 2 minutes after they started, I went to see Testament's soundcheck :D

Now I know why Sully Erna (Godsmack) wrote the song "Cry Like A Bitch" & dedicated it to Nikki Sixx...

Mick is a class act even throughout all this. He didn’t feel right faking it, or putting up with the other shmucks. He was the driving force for motley and always remained the most respectable. Mad respect

Saw them last night in Sheffield and they were terrible. Vince and Tommy losing the beat it was horrendous. Def Leppard who are arguably their seniors played the arse off of it and put them to shame.

Saw Tommy on his rollercoaster drum platform.
Dropped a stick, left hand, and it fell 25 feet in front of me.
Despite no stick in his snare hand, snare sound still came out.

Yep, no more money from me.

Im a retired sound engineer.
I worked on most of the music from the early 80's up until 1998.
Motley Crue, even when they were young, were just down right terrible in the recording booth.
Vince Neil never could sing....Ever.
.
It took this guy over a dozen different takes till a sample sounded "the best".
Where as Cheap Trick would come in later that same day, lay down 4 samples and be done with it.
.
Vince Neil would literally take weeks to accomplish what other bands did in hours.
.
Vince also costed labels thousands upon thousands of dollars due to his terrible singing....The guy was that bad.Tommy Lee couldnt even play high school pre warmups and would have to ask other drummers who were in the studio for help or advice
I was in the studio back in 83 ( I think it was 83 ) for the Shout out the devil sessions
and it was terrible....So bad it was actually discussed if they would continue with Vince as the frontman due to the thousands of dollars being flushed away with the countless takes and retakes needed to get the vocals to sound acceptable..
.
Motley Crue, as a whole....As a complete band are horrible to work with due to these "musicians" inability to play or perform as a band when recording.
me personally, I cant stand their music and Mr Mars is the ONLY one of the group who could actually play his instrument fluently.
The guy is a damn good guitarist.
Too bad I cant and will not say that for the rest of the band..
.
Also,
99% of your favorite metal bands are using some kind of backtrack, lipsyning, auto tune when you see them live.
From ACDC to the Rolling Stones..
Theres one that uses backtracks and has for decades and not a single person says anything or

Note: Milli Vanilli were absolutely destroyed as a performing act after being outed for lip syncing. You gave the impression that they survived the incident.
