I’ve been in the HVAC industry for over 30 years. It looks like a great design. I love to see new innovative ideas. They’ve taken the mini split design and made it even more compact.

I bought one of these for my bedroom and was so blown away by how well it performed, I immediately threw out my living room unit and replaced it with one of these as well. Quietest A/C ever. I can actually watch TV at night again with this running without my wife complaining the TV is too loud. Our A/C is on my side of the bed and was very loud so had to crank the volume or try to read lips or captions. Problem solved.

I live in a doublewide mobile home, my central unit went out, with no job and having only soc. sec. i can not afford
to buy a new central unit, i was able to buy this midea window unit, i installed it in the smallest room of my house and
just moved EVERYTHING into that room ( tv, computer, game console, bed, everything ) now that is the room i exist
in, the only room in the house with a/c, i am very happy with this a/c unit, very energy efficient and keeps me cool
even tho outside temps are hitting 110 F or 43 C in the shade . it is hot, even at night it stays above 80 F / 27 C so the
a/c unit runs 24/7 and my electric bills run under $100 / mo ; i just LOVE my midea a/c .

I (70 yr old female) spent today cleaning all my windows inside and outside. I then installed two window A/Cs... one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen. Now I have the 12, 000 BTU Midea shown in the video to install in the living room. My son and I watched the installation video but I'm too beat to install it this afternoon! My son told me he'll come over while I'm out tomorrow and get started installing it for me! By the time I get home, he'll either have it done (I hope) or I'll be able to help him place it in the window... It is pretty damned heavy!

I have had a 1 ton Midea cooling an aluminum 350 sqft shed with R7 insulation in Florida and it works great! We don't even see it on the electric bill ($15 to $20/mo in summer), and that is saying something in Florida. It is the most efficient A/C I have ever used and being in Florida all my life I have been through many A/C units. It is the best investment I have ever made. And it is SO quiet that sometimes I have to check it to be sure it is on when I leave the shed. I keep the shed at 76 or 77 all summer long.

We bought one 2 weeks. It is fantastic and very easy to install! We are so happy that we came across this video. Its easy to use and it runs great. We put it in our Florida room and we are buying another one for in the bedroom .

As a day sleeper, this looks like it will solve all my problems. I've tried using a window unit in the past, and it cools very well, but its vents let light into the room. With this, I can just cover up the window and slide the window down. I can sleep in darkness AND stay cool. As long as it cools well, I think I might be sold!

I just bought this model and have had it running for a week. I have never done an easier installation. I am amazed by this unit, it is everything and more. But out of everything is its lack of noise, all you hear is a small fan sound, and the temperature stays within a half of a degree always. It might be a hundred dollars more than other "good ones" but I would have paid more just to have it. Get one, you will never regret it, honestly!

Back in the day, they had units somewhat like this one. The inside part was bigger, but still had the split part in the middle. A friend of ours had an old International Harvester Air Conditioner, that was almost like this one. The louvers were on the top but it didn't do the flipping like this one did, when the compressor stopped the outside motor would shut off.
