Imagine how accurate they will be with a pistol in their hands. And only $20, 000 that’s cheaper than a soldier or police officer.

Do you want to have at home a robot who is remotely operated by some guy in India or Philippines? Who listens all your conversations, sees what are you doing, does anything he wants while you're not at home.
That's why Tesla shares plummeted after this puppet show. It's just a remotely controlled exoskeleton which can keep balance and walk as 90 years old person. Nothing more.

As soon as it spoke you could tell that it was a human voice. AI doesn’t say “Really?” after you tell it your name. Also the robot when asked say they are not fully autonomous and they were being assisted by humans. Why are they even wondering.

Even if it's voiced by humans...its still a robot with a human size, with best as of now precision movements, and walks completely without any support or external power supply... remember them just 2 years ago? And now imagine 2 years from now...

Yeah no one is having their jobs

Remotely controlled robots have been for decades. Are these guys serious? This would have been impressive in the 90’s.

Such AI robots which you can buy to do the household work or to serve your private works etc can be sold at a high price at the beginning to get as much profit as possible and if you expect to give the discount you cannot get it and soon or later many technical problems will arise leading to the customers who test it may not like it all given a higher cost of repairs or change to a new one

Such AI robots are nothing more than an automatically operated cars or an automatic cleaning devices which we have bought from the supermarket to do the cleaning for us by itself, the difference is that it has an appeal as tries to be a real person with the voice recognition function allowing it follow the programming by the robot manufacturers to use it to serve the commercial operation by reducing the manual jobs, so it is actually an automatic cleaning machine except that it is designed to perform more diversified tasks

This is an AI podcast video. The voices you are hearing are not human.

This YT video is obviously an illuminate ai podcast by google. But the points that the event was puppeteering is a good point. The voice responses give it away, walking movement is robot like and clumsy but hand gestures are much more fluid. Looking at the training video’s on YT showing optimus you can see operators training the robots. This event is very much a marketing show.

The two voices narrating this very video sound like AI

Definitely controlled. The killer moment for me was when the guy asked what drinks are available. The “robot” answered in a way a person would and even forgot the drink mid sentence. Like he was looking at his notes. THAT was janky. The individual voices was a give away too. Each robot was numbered and had a handler. The handlers controlled their forward moments etc and puppeteer did everything else.
The show was cool but we all noticed it was off.

The lag is not a good argument here. Have a conversation with Meta AI and ask it some hard questions and it gives you long, detailed responses and adds in its own quirky comments nearly instantaneously.

It’s like when Trevor Milton made a video of their electric truck down a hill. Pretty sure he went to prison for that.

Why on earth would a doctor use a humanoid robot to perform surgery? That completely defeats the point of surgical robots. Existing designs allow dor an incredible amount of precision and humanoid roboys can barely hold their hands still wothout falling over.

If these robots are controlled by humans think how humans can build building on mars so than mars can become safe for humans to visit
