presets is a great starting point to getting the right tune, but not always great. depends on build and what you have inside

I agree at some point you will need to learn PID tuning specially if you are going away from the 5". got some BNF 2" and 3" and from factory they are just horrible

Preset for 10" was way off. Super low. Drone barely held straight

For Betaflight - no problem at all - a lot of tutorials. The other thing is KISS GUI PID tuning - Custom blackbox loggers / strange data output / - if you are lucky to get any blackbox data. Almost no any tutorials ... Sad situation . Still waiting for some new KISS youtube explainer

i just fly kiss ultra on defaults :) as good in the air as any poured over betaflight quad i have. but thats none of my business
