The sandpaper on a stick I was familiar with... but the other ones made my head explode! Brilliant.

Colin, the PTFE tape tip is pure genius. No more making holes in stuck jar tops for me. I spent a third of my working life as a plumber using ptfe tape to seal joints. it never occurred to me to use it to do the exact opposite. Thanks for a great new tip.

I use a paint stirring stick, wrap sand paper round it and use two thumb tacks to attach the sandpaper.
I like the block you made for drilling holes for knobs on doors. Neat idea.

Super awesome tips! I’m excited to try the magnet and hammer, as well as the drill bit replacement with the finishing nail!😃👍

Like the double sided tape w/sandpaper idea. Had the thought while watching it would work well with paint stirs and even have a little handle. Also with the magnet hammer idea placing a nail precisely might work with a ball peen hammer. Then it could be put right down on a specific spot and tape it with another hammer or mallet on the other end of the head of the ball peen. Wow that was a mouthful. Thanks for all your ideas.

The magnet on the hammer is brilliant! I wish I would have known when putting up our livestock wire onto our wood fence, the fence staples were real hard to hold and get started, this would have save a ton of time and frustration.

Wowwowwow! This was the first video ever I found every one trick worth of gold. And my father was a carpenter whom I watched thousands of hours when he did his work, and these hints were new to me. Thank you very much.

The scrap wood template is a great idea! Looks more reliable than the cheap plastics ones I’ve been using.. I’ll definitely be trying this out, thanks for sharing!

Love the Teflon tape on the jar tip. Just wish I had seen it two weeks ago. Well, next time I'll use it and save me a hassle with that stuck lid I've been fighting with. Thanks!!
