Hi Colin....unlike some other You-tube experts, your tips are genuinely useful, and you have the knack of demonstrating them clearly and briefly. Thank you!! And please keep 'em coming.

Colin, I use the velcro straps like you do but I've always just ust the black ones. I with I'd thought of using red like you. Great ideas. I now know why I was saving all my old magnetic signs.

Love this kind of video! Quick info, very useful around the shop. A project video is useful for learning that one thing, but a tips/tricks video has IMO a broader usefulness for the viewer (plus a lot of fun to watch). Thanks for taking the time, and for the ideas. A related tip for you -- I've seen that plywood carrier, but with an offset to prevent scraping your knuckles against the plywood. So if you sawed the top end off of yours a few inches below the hand area, then dropped it down a bit on the 'outside' (the side away from the carrying channel) just enough to overlap and re-attached it with glue and fasteners, that would create an offset the thickness of the material, and get your hand that same thickness away from the plywood surface. Sandwiching a scrap between the two reattached ends would stand off the handle even further from the plywood.

I'm always having to lug pieces of plywood around by myself -- occasionally full sheets, and my arms are never long enough! Going to make one of these ASAP! Thanks.

As a 5ft woman with short arms, I greatly appreciate the plywood carrier idea! There never seems to be a cart available when I need it and even if there was, that doesn't help me move the material when I get home! 😆 Many, many thanks!!

Love the magnet hack. I use velcro ties as well on all my corded tools & coiled up extension cords. Love the sheet carrier.

I deal with a lot of network, power, mice and other cables in my job. The velcro ties are very handy. The ties with the hole at one end (shown in the video) are extra helpful. You use the hole to tie the velcro around the cable first so it stays on the cable. And then you wrap the velcro around the entire cable when you are going to store it.
