You have explained it perfectly. Thanks.

An explanation of Tenet that's straight to the point, without corny jokes and trailing off topic. Thanks.

That accent, he must be Sator's ally 🧐

This is exactly what I needed it :D Thanks!

So that means, if you spend too much time in the blue, you’ll eventually move past the time when the machine was originally built, and forever be trapped in the blue world as time moves backwards!!

Best explanation on inverse entropy ever

probably the best explanation of the film on this site

Both of your explanations were great, particularly the algorithm. One more thing about the algorithm: I believe when the world starts moving backwards in time, everything that breathes oxygen and is not using artificial oxygen will die.

underrrated tenet related video, but how the hell the scientist who made the the algorithm hide the bomb to the past????

2:26 technically they do not enter together exactly but Blue one from the past sees Red one from the future entering inversely.

Equally, red one from the future sees inversed blue exiting backwards to enter back inversely into the 1st turnstile to finally 'cancel' himself and only the future red one exists in the end.

How are you suppose to send a message, or an object back in time for someone moving forward to pick up at the first place

Thanks for this! Although I still have so many questions but at least how the device works is properly explained here. I left a like. 👌

It's not a great look when a movie needs independently made videos, such as this, to help explain itself. This video helped a lot, thank you so much. I just wonder what could have been removed from the movie itself to fit an explainer like this in. Ah well. Thanks Team!

That animation was awesome and super helpful in understanding!

I think the most weird part about inverted time is the fact that you can predict every action from the start of the turnstile to the end of it. All actions within that timeline will not change therefore you came predict them.

What I didn’t understand is that if Neil is from the ‘future’ why is he not talking in reverse like how the henchmen are speaking in the car chase scene. Also the when Sator is threatening during the turnstile scene.

was the algorithm a bomb? i thought it was that if they invert more and more things then time would flow the other way. eventually both time lines would annihilate each other? wasn't the algorithm the key for inverting objects?

Tenet (Max is Neil) theory

let’s just say The Protagonist is 40 years old here during the events we see take place in the movie. And Max is 10. And Neil is 30 years old. So after the end of the movie, TP goes to be with Kat and Max. If Max is Neil, TP would train him until he is 20 years old. Then, at some point during this time after he is fully trained at 20 years old, he would be ready to invert himself and go back 10 years into the past (to the time of the events that we see take place in the movie. Now he would still be aging even as he travels back ten years into the past. So when he first inverts himself to go back ten years into the past, he is 20 when he leaves, and when he gets to the ten year mark of being inverted, he is now the 30 year old version we see here in the movie, and he exists at the same time his younger version of himself (Max) does, who is 10 years old. Is my math right and what are your thoughts on this theory? Because I’m assuming if Neil is Max, his younger self after growing up and being trained by TP in the future would have had to invert at some point to go back into the past for at least several years at once without reverting back to forward time (which would be long and difficult but he has the discipline for it and I would say it’s entirely possible.

When entering the turnstile, you would see your inverted self walking backward toward you until you are inverted. Would you bump into each other or just merge?
