I used to drink 3 cans of sodas a day. It took me about 4 to 6 months to kick the habit - and it made a big improvement on my weight. Continue to build on your steady progress GR, get after it...

Great Job! I hit 200 Friday morning and was 198.2 this morning. I want to lose about 10 more. As far as maintenance goes I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing for breakfast and lunch. I'll also keep weighting myself daily and have a trigger weight where everything stops under I get it back in order.

All time high weight? What’s your total loss?Did you gain weight back after you lost the 75 lbs in 3 and a half months? Weight loss is indeed a journey...not a destination.

need to eat more fats. Yep natural fats in food is HEALTHY. But Minimum Carbs. When you heavily restrict your carb intake and ADD more healthy fats _(such as fats from beef, fish, yes chicken too, butter, real cream, cheeses, eggs, etc)_ you will notice you're not hungry between meals, and sometimes you will just skip meals not because _"you have too"_ but because you're not hungry. This all may take a week(s) or more depending on a persons body, before you begin to see and feel these changes. Other people might begin to see it in a few days.

Also after a week or so (at least for me) you'll notice that the cravings for sweets and etc reduce quite a bit. You also stay more level energy wise throughout the day, because your body is burning fat instead of needing constance carb/sugar intake. You also don't get the glucose spikes as you are taking in too few carbs for that to occur _(when trying to lose weight 20g of TOTAL carbs per day or less [don't fall for "net carbs" on food labels])_ When you continue on minimum carb and high fat diet, it forces your body to stop running on glucose, and instead switch and begin to run on fats.

Minimum carbs cuts a lot of stuff out of a person diet, but you can also find a lot of things that can be substituted. Such as Almond or Coconut flour instead of regular flour. And there are plenty of recipes on the internet for low carb diets too. I made a low carb pizza and had it for dinner today. Using almond flour, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese and an egg to make the dough for the crust, and then added turkey pepperoni, more mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce _(have to check the carbs as many add sugar)_ and some seasonings. First time making it and it was really good. Didn't really notice much difference between that and a regular high carb pizza.

The problem today is mostly due to how the food supply has been destroyed for multiple decades, and how badly it has affected people's health as a result. Everyone [most other nations] think americans are just _"lazy and watch tv all day"_ or etc, and that's why most all american are overweight with a LARGE percentage as obese and morbidly obese. But people (here and elsewhere) don't realize how bad our food supply has been destroyed and basically poisoned, worse here in the US but also to a a good degree in most of the western nations.

In conjunction with the FDAs Stupid American Diet _("SAD" standard american diet)_ food recommendations. Along with most "doctors" _(who are programmed to repeat the same things)_ has also had a major detrimental impact as well. Such as "don't eat meat, eggs, butter, etc etc, its bad for you" and "it'll raise your cholesterol"... and "only eat low fat foods, 2% or skim milk, margarine, lots of salads, etc etc etc"... Yet with all their "great" recommendations... more than HALF of american people are taking prescription drugs for health issues. And most of the other half are on supplements.

The only real way to get your body back to balance, is to cut out the carbs and sugars, and move to a High Fat diet. As our bodies have been so overwhelmed with carbs and sugar, most people _(in the US especially)_ have become insulin resistant, because our glucose levels are up ALL the Time most of our lives. Which has caused many many so called "diseases" which are actually worsening symptoms of insulin resistance due to daily high carb/sugar intake. Because of which, most people's bodies literally can't burn fat, which is why we have to eat and snack all day because all we are running on carbs and sugars, which are burned quickly. And is why most people always feel hungry all during the day.
And no matter how much you exercise and etc, it never does much good. Same thing when people try diets that only restrict calories, yeah you might lose some weight, but its not sustainable because you're hungry all the time. A person's body is hungry for a reason, it has to have fuel in order to operate. We just need to force it to use the right kind of fuel.

Anyway I'll end my rant :-)
I know you're already doing a lot of this, just thought I would pipe in my experience for those reading.
BTW a high fat, very low carb, higher protein diet is often referred to as a "modified atkins" diet, which stems from Keto or Ketogenic diet. Personally I think the modified atkins diet is much better, and it is also easier to do. It also helps with a number of health problems and issues for many people, even people who are not overweight nor looking to lose weight.
I also recommend the "KetoDiet" app, as it is an easy app to help you keep track of your daily intake of carbs, protein, fats, and calories.
Last point, once you get down to the weight you want (if this is your goal), then you can modify your carb intake, just don't increase it to fast or your body will switch back to burning carbs only again. And if you start gaining weight instead of maintaining it, you'll know you have exceeded your personal carb level and have to adjust, and maybe even go back to your 20g carb daily intake for a few days or a week, and then try again.
