Someone once said:
it's easy to teach business to engineers than to teach engineering to business people.

One of the most underestimated aspect of engineering is that it forces you to learn how to learn, which basically unlocks your capacity to learn about any subject you’re interested in. Engineering is a lot harder than business, marketing, management, etc. Once mastered, you can leverage your skills to do a lot more b

Finally, engineers getting rewarded for their work. Back in the days, engineers would toil anonymously in some drab lab or workshop inventing and perfecting products, but it was the bean counters (managers and ceo's) who would take all the glory. Not anymore.

I have a theory: they are CEO not because they studied engineering but because studying engineering requires you to work the logical and analytical muscle of your brain. And being able to think logically is an important skill to have as a CEO. I reckon if you done a brain scan of a bunch of CEOs brains, that the regions responsible for abstract thinking would be larger than average. A particular region of Einstein's brain is 20% larger than the average human responsible for imagination.

Never been happier with ad transition. Very relevant, very analytical, and not sleazy about it.

I really loved this video and I had to cut it short because it has inspired me so much to do more intensive research on my current interest which is getting an Electrical Engineering degree, specifically from Kennesaw State University.

Thanks again Newsthink

As an engineering major, I have to admit it’s very challenging, especially I’m on calc 3 and physics and it’s kicking my ass but when the light bulb hit, it’s addicting 😭

I'm an entrepreneur and an MBA. I hire 6 engineers in my place and everytime a meeting is held, they are likely know everything better than me. They learn business management fast, and one day I believe engineers are the ones who will lead us to the better future.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million

My husband career is Medical Engineer [IT department] for the county hospital here in Dallas, TX. Before that, he worked in Biomedical for the hospital. Doctors might save lives, but without those machines and equipment, those Doctors be lost without someone like my husband to save the day.

Fun fact : Engineers are good at everything except engineering

Edit : it was just a joke and I didn't mean anything. Even I am an engineer.

Excellent video. We are all striving for financial freedom and a better way of life. It is not difficult to achieve this with wise investing, economical lifestyle, and careful budgeting. I'm pleased I learnt early on to work hard for financial independence.
