'You can go to Japan to live, but you cannot become Japanese. You can go to France to live and not become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey, and you won't become a German or a Turk. However, anybody from any corner of the world can come to America to live and become an American.' - Ronald Reagan

Because " America is a country where great things are possible than any other country in the world " - Elon Musk...and he is very true and America has great opportunities.

Thank you Cindy I too am an immigrant originally from Scotland. I was driven to succeed. I embraced technology early in my company and we went from manual processes to computerized methods in circa 1985.

this is something about America that people seem to ignore or overlook when they try to compare the US to other countries or era.

USA denied my Visa for 2 Time. I was not so good in speaking in English.Visa official said that I dont have intention to study and they said I will not get Visa so applying again was waste of money and time (The main factor for denial of my Visa was I am from Poor country in Asia) . I than learn German. Just in 11 Months I completed my B2 level of german language. I came Germany to study, got sponsorship from one big Tech company. Now I am studying here. In my vacation I go to my company to help them with my knowledge. Last time I created a Workshop. My senior were quite happy with my work.

In US there is constant money flow, so no matter what you do if you are not lazy and work hard, you will have certain life standard no matter what you do. This seems pretty straight forward, but there are countries no matter how hard you work, you will still be poor.

USA just screams opportunity as long as you have the knowledge/intelligence, skills, attitude and determination. That's why.

The most important reason of it is the roadblocks the life provides them, not all but most of the immigrants have to go through it in all aspects of their life.
As it says What doesn't kills you or breaks you down, makes you more stronger.
