2024 had some incredible WOLED & QD OLED displays, yet despite that, 2025 is looking to be another wild year for monitor releases with a ton of new options coming out or at least rumored to be coming out, and there’s one in particular I want to discuss in today's video that might just be the holy grail of monitors, and that's the upcoming 45” 4K ultrawide OLED from LG.

Yes you heard me correctly it's just about everything I've been waiting for and maybe what you've been waiting for as well. Now this did actually originally get leaked by TFT central and not too long ago I made a video discussing all the potential alleged 2025 monitors that might be coming out and this was definitely one of them I was very excited for and I want to highlight it in today's video real quick let's go over all the specs we know so far and then I'm going to discuss why I'm so excited for this monitor in particular as well as a potential update for the release date.

Don’t count out the current 45” one. It’s got great HDR and the low PPI is shockingly not an issue for pure content consumption. Text looks terrible, but it looks great during gaming. Coming from a 32” 4K, it looks significantly better than I thought it would.

after the 1600 lines for the alienware 38in ultrawide. i dont know if i could go back to 1440p. i like that extra bit of vertical resolution

I picked up the Samsung Oddysey G9 QD-OLED 49" G95SC for $999 on sale recently. Thank you very much for your color profile because I was truly struggling with it. I'm a patreon member of yours. This monitor is incredible, seriously incredible. Not only is it slightly curved and immersive so gaming is unbelievable but productivity is great too. I wish it had a bit more height real estate for the screen. Also, the OS is always flashing and seemingly trying to catch the correct output and it leaves me blackscreened occasionally. It doesn't seem to play well with the other monitors I have above it either. Do you have any other people who claim this or any suggestions to help with it? This is my first monitor over $300 and I'm wondering if there are always these issues with high end monitors?

Take my money at 27" 5k or 8k and 120fps+. Clean fonts and integer scaling at 120fps+ is what I want.

I used to edit photos for universal pictures, I hate mate coating as well. The coating on those older Mac Pro panels were the worst. I would love to have the 5k monitor in the beginning of your video, I hope it has a clear glossy panel version!

I bought the 45 1440p lg and had to return it. The 800R curve was too much for me. I need 1000R+.

I really would buy it, going from an ultrawide 34 to a 4k 32 makes me miss the 34 when i view wider content. This would be the best of both worlds
