2025 Monitors Will be Wild - OLED & Mini LED HDR Displays
2025 is going to be a wild year for monitors. And I mean, for starters, we've already been shown a number of new OLED sizes and resolutions planned thanks to TFT Central coming from both LG and Samsung. But more than that, we're likely to see huge improvements to mini LED, along with faster, brighter and higher resolution options with a wide variety of coatings available as well. Thank God. Personally I'm looking forward most to the 45" 5120x2160 OLED that is likely to be launching in 2025 as well as possible tandem OLEDs going into production and the first 8K displays.

I just hope and pray that with all the upcoming monitors the industry afapts the DP 2.1a standard.

I just want a high end quality monitor that doesn't have big ugly logos on it or looks like a transformer.

LG is ruining their ultrawide panels by making them so aggressively curved. That 34" 5k2k panel would be sweet at 1800R.

LG will release Tandem OLED monitors and TVs in 2026 they will be the real upgrade over current OLEDs because Tandem OLED has 2 times and higher Fullscreen brightness than current OLEDs not only that they have way higher lifespan than current OLEDs.

500/1000/1600 on an OLED, 4K, 32” panel, would be a dream scenario.

The 7680x2160 QD Oled would be the best thing ever IF AND ONLY IF it has configurable picture by picture. I want a single monitor with a 4K 16-9 gaming area in the middle and two 8 by 9 screens on the sides.
Now QD Oled needs to get even better against burn in or an updated miniLED variant would probably do.

Lol I just got the 32" Alienware 4K 240 QD-OLED earlier this year. But if they offer a 5120x2160 glossy QD-OLED at 39'+ with better brightness, i'll upgrade again lol.

I want a 27" 4K OLED! If they can make one that handles 360Hz I want two! Thumbs up.

All I need is a premium 32”OLED >200 ppi display with >120 Hz refresh rate and a glass cover panel.

28" 4K 360Hz DP 2.1 full bandwidth would be a dream come true.

I would be pleasantly surprised if those 5120 x 2160 monitors go for any less $2000 out of the gate. As incredible as it is, my 6800XT would cry and die if it tried to runs most games at that resolution.

Surprisingly good news on tandem oleds. It’s the logical next step with pholed.

I’ll be using oled tvs until oled monitors are ripe for the picking.

Can even set up a controller pc set up for tv/pc and enjoy proper 4k until it’s in monitor form.

All I want from current OLEDs is higher brightness.

27 inches 4K OLED 240 Hz sweet spot as I have a 13.3 inch 1080p portable monitor as the secondary one. Awesome PPI in view

4:30 That RGB LG OLED would finally be a true end-game OLED monitor, unlike the first generation of 4K 32" OLEDs with middling 10% brightness. Let's just hope LG improves/ditches their grainy coating by then!

all i need is a glossy 1440p 25" QD-OLED 300hz. 123ppi will be super close to the old 32" 4k OLEDs 138ppi

Excited for the 4K 27" models, whenever they come.

Surprised they didn't push the 8K on to 32. Retina calculator shows the perfect view distance is 11" at 27" that is really close.
